Opportunities to try international fare: November 16 at Trent Opportunities to try Japanese sushi, Indian curry, Jamaican jerk chicken, Arabic falafel and a variety of dishes from 16 different countries, will abound at the Trent International Student Association's (TISA) International Potluck, to take place at Champlain College's Great Hall November 16 at 7 p.m. Trent's international students invite the public to join them to try authentic food from around the world. Admission is $4 for students and seniors, $5 for wage adults and $2 for children under 12-years-old. Tickets can be purchased at selected locations on campus, Titles Bookstore on George Street North and at the door, which will open at 6:30 p.m. "We would like everyone to join us to," says Anna Boateng, TISA secretary, adding more than 80 students took part in the preparation of traditional meals at last year's event.
