Update: Remembrance Day Ceremony Due to inclement weather, the Remembrance Day ceremony will be moved from the Bata Library Podium to the Great Hall, Champlain College. Remembrance Day at Trent - Please join us The Trent community will take the time to reflect and remember on November 11 at 10:30 a.m. as part of its Remembrance Day ceremony, to take place on the Bata Library Podium. All are welcome to attend; the ceremony is open to students, staff and faculty, as well as the broader Peterborough community. College cabinet representatives and members of the Religious Affairs Committee have organized the ceremony - the first university-wide Remembrance Day event in a number of years. The ceremony will include the traditional components of a Remembrance Day service, as well as poetry readings by Trent's Prof. David Glassco and 4th Line Theatre's Eric Craig. Students, staff and faculty will participate in the multi-faith service, through music, prayer and the laying of wreaths. A gathering in Lady Eaton College's senior common room will follow the ceremony. There, a compilation of student memories, messages and thoughts on Remembrance Day will be displayed.
