Come to the Campus: November 1 Fall Open House Much behind-the-scenes preparation is taking place for Trent University’s Fall Open House on November 1 - starting at 9:30 a.m. Trent is expecting to host close to 400 high school students and their families, as they look to learn about the University and its programs and services. The Fall Open House provides an opportunity for prospective students to become familiar with the campus and meet President Bonnie Patterson and Registrar Susan Salusbury as well as faculty, staff members and students. The day is scheduled to kick-off with an information forum in the Athletics Complex where representatives from all departments and some clubs, groups and teams will be on-hand. Specific information sessions have also been set-up, as follows:
Visitors to the campus will also have the opportunity to take a tour between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. "The Fall Open House gives us an opportunity to bring people to the campus and show them how beautiful it is," says Joe Teft, Open House organizer. "Prospective students will also meet faculty members and get a glimpse into the college system. They’ll be getting a better understanding of the community they may be living in."
