Natalie MacMaster Visits Trent University 2002 Entertainer of the Year Natalie MacMaster visited the Trent University Audio Visual recording studios on Thursday, June 12. Ms. MacMaster is a spokesperson for Development and Peace, the official international development agency of the Canadian Catholic Church, and was in the studio to record a segment for their promotional video launching their latest campaign Water: Life Before Profit. Ms. MacMaster has won 11 East Coast Music Awards including 2002 Entertainer of the Year and has received the Fiddle Player of the Year Award from the Canadian Country Music Awards for the past five years. Ms. MacMaster, a past performer at Peterborough's Festival of Lights, also has two Juno Awards to her credit. Posted June 12, 2003 |
