An evening of Celtic Sounds with award-winning author Alistair MacLeod and company On Friday, January 31, 2003, internationally renowned author Alistair MacLeod, Trent University’s Ashley Fellow for 2002/03, will take the stage for an evening of Celtic Sounds together with his son Kenneth MacLeod on fiddle and Trent alumna Emily Addison on keyboard. Ashley Fellow for 2002/03, Alistair MacLeod will read from his short stories
and talk about the Celtic influences on his work. The Ashley Fellow is a visiting scholar who gives public lectures, visits the campus throughout the year and participates in the academic and college life of the University. Mr. MacLeod is in residence at Traill College from January 19 to February 9 and will be participating in various courses at the University and visiting some local schools. Taking place on Friday, January 31, 2002 at 8:00 p.m. at Wenjack Theatre in Otonabee College, "An Evening of Celtic Sounds" is a free event and open to the public.
