Learning
from a pro: Toronto-based actor and writer Rick Miller will visit Trent on November 14 to lead a master class with 15 Trent drama and improv students. The focus of the class will be improving comic techniques, voice mimicry and improvisation. Mr. Miller will be working with the students on-stage at Wenjack Theatre, starting at 7:30 p.m., and anyone interested in watching the class is welcome to observe from a seat in the theatre. Mr. Miller is the artistic director of WYRD Productions and has created and performed three award-winning solo shows: Art?, Slightly Bent and MacHomer: the Simpsons do Macbeth. After six years this last show is still on tour. Mr. Miller is also well-known as a multi-disciplinary performer and has been involved in everything from classical theatre to film and television productions.
