Trent Team puts United Way Campaign Over the Top
When
president Bonnie Patterson lead a team of Trent University staffers at
the Ride at the Y on November 6, the University was at 99% of its $52,000
goal for the fundraising campaign. But once campaign coordinator Brenda
Blackburn counted up the cash and pledges from the morning's ride, it
was clear that the goal had been reached - and then some.The current total
for the University's United Way effort is $52,362. - and Ms. Blackburn
expects that total to continue to climb. "The campaign wraps up at
the end of December," she says."So there's still plenty of time
to support those essential United Way agencies with a pledge. It's never
too late to give to the United Way." Ms. Blackburn can be reached
