Message to Faculty re: Library Services

Updated October 2020

I‘d like to remind the Trent community that the Library and Archives is now open both physically and virtually on the Durham and Peterborough campuses. Our dedicated team members are available to support your research needs during regularly scheduled hours.

Our librarians, archivists and information specialists continue to work to introduce new digital services and collections to support the online delivery of Trent’s academic programs and research activities. We’re working closely with Trent Online and the Centre for Teaching and Learning to seamlessly integrate information resources into the curriculum to support our students.

Access to the print collections is now available by requesting items online through Omni, and picking up the material at the Library Service Desk at Bata Library or the Durham Campus Library. Interlibrary loan of digital items continues to be available. Ontario’s 21 university libraries are also working toward restarting the sharing of print material through interlibrary loans in the near future.

Please remember, we’re here whenever you need our support. You can reach us at library@trentu.ca.

You can also search the library online with Omni at www.trent.ca/library

Keep well and stay healthy!
