The provenance of the fonds is varied, including ownership of letters by Mrs. G.K. Browne, Mr. Dunlop Stewart, and H.T. Pammett. The photocopies of the items in the fonds were donated by Mr. Brown, father of Professor Stewart Brown, to the Trent University Archives.
