Ernest Asigri is my name (2000/2001 batch of Trent in Ghana student).
I'm still working for Assemblies of God Relief and Development Services, where I had my internship and am currently the National Relief and Peacebuilding Coordinator. I have just successfully completed two institutional capacity building projects started in 2001 and am currently designing a new two-year Peacebuilding project proposal for northern Ghana.
The street child project I initiated during my internship has expanded to become one of the largest and most comprehensive street child projects in Urban Accra with substantial government of Ghana poverty reduction programme support. A visiting Canadian Parliamentary delegation accompanied by Dr. Gariba visited the project centre about an hour ago.
The Trent in Ghana Program has really impacted my life and the many other colleagues and communities that have benefited from its products.
