The Regatta
What is a head race?
A head race is a time trial rowing race. Competitors take off from the start line one at a time and the winners are determined by who rowed the fastest, not who crossed the finish line first. Visit regattacentral.com for up-to-the-minute results.
Where is the best place to watch the rowing?
Watch the Head of the Trent from the newly opened West Bank retaining wall, the Faryon Bridge finish line, or from the Student Centre. With the Otonabee River running through campus, there are many prime regatta viewing locations to cheer on the Trent and Peterborough rowing club athletes.
Where can I find regatta results?
Visit regattacentral.com for up-to-date regatta results. Look for the QR code on signs around campus to access quickly from your phone.
