Designed by Assistant Professor, Dr. Denise Handlarski, this video series includes information to help support teachers and students about the issues we face when learning about sexuality. Teacher videos are designed to help educators by providing background to areas within sexual education that are most important to their students. Similarly, the Student videos in this series are designed for students to gain greater knowledge and understanding around similar topics such as consent, gender and sexual diversity, and common questions.
"Students deserve access to good information about healthy sexuality. Good, evidence-based, informational sex ed can lead to a reduction in bullying, improved student mental and physical health, and better outcomes around reducing teen pregnancy and rates of Sexually Transmitted Infections. These videos provide students with information they need, and also provide teachers with ideas and resources to help them deliver quality sex education."
