Step 2 | Accept your offer of admission to Trent by emailing admissions@trentu.ca. Provide the name of your program, your student number, and your full name. | |||
Step 3 | Pay your tuition deposit of $2500 CAD. You can also opt to pay your full first term tuition. | |||
Step 4 | Prepare your study permit application as soon as you obtain your Letter of Acceptance from Trent. | |||
Step 5 | Monitor your applicant email and MyTrent Portal for updates on your Provincial Attestation Letter (not required for Masters/PhD level students) and next steps. | |||
Step 6 | Submit your study permit application with your Provincial Attestation Letter (attestation letter not required for Masters/PhD level students). | |||
Step 7 | Keep us updated on the status of your Study Permit application by completing this survey. | |||

You should prepare the following documents as required by IRCC which you will present at the airport. You do not require a verification of enrollment to enter Canada. You require a valid Letter of Acceptance. You should arrive prior to the expiry on your Letter of Acceptance. Please be sure to research the latest entry requirements from the Government of Canada. |

Plan your transit from the airport to Peterborough or Durham. Please contact any of the followings to arrange your own airport shuttle. |
