Graduate students at the CEMC are enrolled in any one of three programs. Of these, two are multi-disciplinary graduate programs unique to Trent, and one is a joint program with Queen's University in Kingston Ontario:
Applied Modelling & Quantitative Methods:
Modelling techniques are focal to this program since the same techniques are often used in very different disciplines. Disciplines involved include: chemistry, mathematics, environmental & resource studies, physics, computer studies, geography, as well as several social sciences.
Environmental and Life Sciences:
In this program the focus is on gathering and interpretation of environmentally relevant data. Disciplines include: biology, environmental & resource studies, and geography.
Trent/Queen's Cooperative Graduate Program:
Students in this program receive a Queen's University degree in Chemistry, and undertake most course work in Kingston. Thesis research is performed at Trent University with Trent Faculty who hold Adjunct appointments at Queen's University.
