Each of Trent's five colleges have their own traditions and annual events, their own unique identities and personalities, and contribute in their own special way to the overall Trent experience.
Regardless of which college you join, you can still be part of the campus-wide fun throughout the year.
Celebrating Trent's Colleges
Catharine Parr Traill College
Traill has over five decades of traditions that make up its collegiate tapestry, including the Team Trend Hockey Tournament, the second-longest running alumni event, two mascots, and possibly even ghosts!
Champlain College
As one of Trent's oldest colleges, Champlain has a rich history and many traditions that date back to the University's very beginnings, highlighted by award-winning Ron Thom architecture.
Lady Eaton College
Events & traditions are a big part of what makes Lady Eaton an amazing College and a special community, including College Weekends, the Seeley Women in Leadership Luncheon, and the beloved Great Toad Hunt.
Otonabee College
The first college to grace the East Bank of the river and the only collegiate building designed by a woman, Otonabee's community keeps its colourful history and traditions alive in its Scarfing Ceremony, Wildside Weekend and so much more.
Peter Gzowski College
If it's happening at Gzowski, you know BAMM the moose will be there! In its relatively short time, the College's community have developed its own traditions and unique history build around it's connect with Indigenous Studies.
