Trent University Presents Carbon Footprints: The Improbable Story of Alumnus Mike Rosen on April 2

Community Invited to Participate in Free Public Lecture

Wednesday, April 1, 2009, Peterborough

Trent University Alumni Affairs is pleased to present a free public lecture to the community entitled Carbon Footprints - Leading Back to Trent: The Improbably Story of Alumnus Mike Rosen on Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Peterborough Public Library.

Mr. Rosen’s presentation will describe his journey from earning his B.A. in history at Trent to becoming president of Tree Canada. As a Stewardship Coordinator and Forester for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, he received the Amethyst Award, especially for his work during the 1998 ice storm. Michael is also a Registered Professional Forester in Ontario and a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free public lecture.
