Trent University's Continuing Education Department Offers Short Fiction 101: Perfecting Your Craft

Author Michelle Berry to instruct the course

The author of the novels Blur and What We All Want and two critically acclaimed short-story collections, will instruct a short story writing course in Trent University's Continuing Education Department this spring. Michelle Berry has published short fiction in magazines and journals throughout Canada.

Short Fiction 101: Perfecting Your Craft, a workshop course designed to help with the basic techniques of short story writing, will take place Tuesdays from 7 - 9 p.m. from March 3 to April 13. Participants will complete the course with a highly polished piece of short fiction.

Ms. Berry instructed at Ryerson University for five years and was on the board of PEN Canada for eight years. She grew up in Victoria, British Columbia, and recently relocated from Toronto to Peterborough.
