JOIN PLAYWRIGHTS AT WORK THIS WEDNESDAY

Trent University’s Traill College is hosting a "Playwrights at Work" event on Wednesday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m.

The first event in the college’s 2002/03 series called "The Play’s the Thing", Wednesday’s session will feature playwrights Leanna Brodie and Drew Hayden Taylor.

Ms. Brodie’s plays include The Vic, published by Talon Books, and For Home and Country, an acclaimed play from last year’s 4th Line Theatre line-up.

Mr. Taylor is a playwright, columnist, humorist and Chalmer’s Award winner. He has written many plays, including Bootlegger Blues, 400 Kilometres, Someday, and Toronto at Dreamer’s Rock.

Moderators of this event, which will be held in the Junior Common Room in Scott House (310 London Street), are Rob Winslow, artistic director and founder of 4th Line Theatre, and Leonard Conolly, professor of English at Trent University.

This event is free and open to the public.
