Trent University Library & Archives continues to offer electronic collections and virtual services. As part of the University’s limited and reduced campus presence, Bata Library and the Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre are closed and physical collections are unavailable. Student Library Jobs Available for Fall

The  Library has several student positions available during the academic year. Most student positions offer between 6-10 hours per week.  All student jobs are funded through the University Trent Work Study Program (TWSP), which requires that students are financially eligible to apply. This funding and experience provides students with necessary financial support as well as meaningful employment experience. 

All student jobs are posted on the Trent Student Experience Portal. 

Student positions at Bata Library include:

  • Library Client Support Student Assistant (several positions available)
  • Library Student Facilities Assistant (several positions available)
  • Office Assistant (Library Administration)
  • Archives Student Assistant
  • Regional Environmental History Atlas/ and Library Education Assistant 
  • Georeferencing and Digitization Assistant (2 positions)

The Durham Campus Library also hires Student Client Support Assistants. These jobs are also posted on the job board.

 New and continuing students who are interested in any of the above positions should visit the Student Experience Portal for on campus jobs.
