Canadian University Press Imprints for 2012 & 2013

The Trent University community now has access to more ebooks from the Association of Canadian University Presses (ACUP), a collective of French- and English-language scholarly publishers in Canada.  Acquired through our membership in the Canadian Research Knowledge Network, the recent purchase comprises over 1,000 scholarly monographs published in 2012 and 2013, bringing the total number of ACUP ebooks to over 4,500.

Accessing an ebook through the library catalogue is easy.  When you perform a keyword search, the newest books are displayed at the top of your result list.

  • Ebooks are identified as "E-BOOK" on the list.
  • Click a title for a detailed description and access.
  • Click the "Electronic Resource" button to access the ebook from the publisher's website.  (If there is more than one link, it's available from multiple sites - select your favourite.)
  • A new tab/window opens in your browser, and the book is displayed.
