Trent University Library & Archives continues to offer electronic collections and virtual services. As part of the University’s limited and reduced campus presence, Bata Library and the Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre are closed and physical collections are unavailable. Search the Archives

Vertical research files maintained in the Archives include:

  • papers and reports prepared by students in the Haliburton-centered bioregionalism course;
  • research papers of a more general nature by faculty and students, particularly students in applied history classes such as HIST 475;
  • three boxes of vertical files relating to National and Provincial Parks created by Professors Douglas Pimlott and Paul Aird;
  • an extensive collection of books which relate to the organized youth camping movement which may be consulted in the reading room;
  • records and reports relating to the Trent University Nature Areas;
  • Professor John Wadland vertical research files on many topics; files compiled from the early 1970s to early 1990s
