Introduction

Trent offers a comprehensive and diversified athletic and recreational program, ranging from organized inter-university competition to completely informal recreational activities. Located on the campus are rowing facilities, a full-sized lighted playing field, tennis courts, a gymnasium, a 25-meter pool, squash courts, a weight room and fitness centre, and saunas and locker facilities. Inter-university and intramural competition is organized in several sports. Trent University is a full member of Ontario University Athletics, and the Canadian Inter-university Athletic Union. One box of administrative records was forwarded to the Archives in June 1993. These records are unaccessioned.
