Biography / History

Rev. Lloyd Delaney is an active historian and canoeist who lives near Midland, Ontario. He has canoed throughout Canada for nearly sixty years and has worked with Boy Scouts and senior citizens teaching canoe safety.

This fonds was created by and in the custody of Rev. Lloyd Delaney before it was donated to Trent University Archives.

Scope and Content

This fonds consists of newspaper clippings, notes, etc. regarding a canoeing accident at Balsam Lake Camp in 1926, as well as correspondence, articles, etc. on Balsam Lake. This fonds also contains two photos, one of Rev. Delaney, and one of the northwest shore of Balsam Lake.
