    Biographical history

    Robert Waddell and Hugh Waddell were brothers who were both businessmen in Durham County in the middle to late 1800's and the early 1900's. Robert Waddell resided in Balieboro and Hugh Waddell lived in Millbrook, Ontario.

    Custodial history

    This item was in the custody of the Hugh Waddell family before it was donated to the Trent University Archives. Hugh Waddell was a member of the Board of Governors at Trent University.

    Scope and content

    This item is a framed land grant document granting John Meyner one hundred acres of land in Cavan Township and dated 10 October 1821.
