Biography / History

Edwin Victor McNeill was born in Arran Township,Bruce County in 1896. He belonged to the 3rd Canadian Companyof Royal Engineers during the first World War. He became involvedin Ontario Public Service in the by joining the Ontario ProvincialPolice at an early age and advancing to Commissioner in 1953.(Taken from: "The Canadian Who's Who, 1952-1954."
