Biography / History

Aileen Young is a descendant of the Young's Point pioneers and has a keen interest in the local history of Peterborough and its surrounds.

Custodial History

This collection was created by Aileen Young and in her custody until it was donated to the Trent Universtiy Archives.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of 4 scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to the early history and development of Trent University.


Title based on the creator of the collection.

The collection was donated by Aileen Young of Peterborough, Ontario (formerly of Young's Point).

Restrictions: Quotation only with written permission of Mrs. Young.
