Marlow Banks fonds. Additions.-- 1980-1982. -- 10 cm of textual records. -- 65 prints.


Biography / History

Marlow Banks is a resident of Peterborough,Ontario and was the owner of the Banks Bicycle Store. He is a hockey fan, and more specifically, a fan of the Peterborough Petes hockey team. Mr. Banks used to sponsor the "Banks Bicycle Store Trophy" which was awarded annually to the Petes regular season scoring champion.

The fonds was collected by and in the custody of Marlow Banks until it was donated to Trent University Archives.


Scope and Content

This addition to the fonds consists of Peterborough Petes memorabilia 1980-1981 and 1981-1982 seasons. Also include dare 10 issues of "Junior Hockey" and 1 issue of "The Leafs."



Title based on the collector of the fonds.

The prints consist of individual and team photographs of the Peterborough Petes.

The fonds was donated by Marlow Banks, September 9, 1982.
