The Progressive Conservative Association of Ontario was developed to provide a support network for Progressive Conservative MP's and candidates in Ontario ridings. Each riding has its own association to address concerns and draft policies that can be presented by MP's in the government.
Custodial history
This fonds was created by and in the custody of the Progressive Conservative Association of Ontario until it was donated to the Trent University Archives.
Scope and content
This fonds consists of the minutes and proceedings of conventions and annual meetings of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Association (OPCA), and its Liberal-Conservative and Conservative predecessors. It also includes a minute book of the Women's Advisory Committee of the OPCA, (January 13, 1945-November 4, 1957); and the minutes and proceedings of the National Conservative Association Leadership Convention, Winnipeg, December 9-11, 1942.
