Volunteering is an excellent way to gain the skills and experiences you need to reach your career goals as well as making a difference locally and globally by volunteering for a cause you believe in.
Every year Careerspace coordinates the annual Volunteer Expo where students and recent graduates can access information and have discussions with volunteer organizations in-person. The event runs every fall and is open for all students and alumni to attend.
The 2024 Volunteer Expo will be on September 11th 10am - 2pm at the Peterborough campus.
Students and alumni can register for the event on the Student Experience Portal.
If students are interested in connecting with some of the volunteer organizations in the area our 2023 attending organizations can be found below.
Volunteer organization interested in attending can email our team at experiential@trentu.ca or register here.

We invite you to seek the assistance of the Careerspace team when evaluating these opportunities.
