Trent's Social Work (BSW) program is a four-year degree, separated into the General Years (Years 1 & 2) and the Professional Years (Years 3 & 4). Program
Social Work courses in years 1 and 2 are open to any student. The first two years provide a generalist foundation in various disciplines that inform social work practice and provide students the opportunity to explore a range of contemporary themes connected to social work.
Field Placement
Field education provides students with an opportunity to learn about and apply theoretical knowledge to practice situations with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
