Trent’s forward-thinking Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems (SAFS) program* helps to meet the growing demand for experts to address the global need for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food production. As a student in this program, you will develop a solid understanding of food systems: how food is produced, distributed, and consumed, locally and around the world.
Through either the BA or BSc pathways, you’ll have opportunities to get hands-on exposure to sustainable farming and ethical practices, particularly in the Trent Research Farm, while learning how to influence a future of food systems that are responsible, justice-oriented, efficient, effective, and viable.
