Animal Care Committee Minimal Interaction Form available in ROMEO
Please be advised that there is a new Animal Care Committee (ACC) protocol form designed to REDUCE administrative burden. Certain animal-based interactions of low invasiveness still fall within the CCAC mandate for ACC connection and approval but do not need to undergo a full protocol review. The Minimal Interaction Form is now active in ROMEO for use with non-invasive teaching or research animal-based interactions. A guiding document for when this form may apply will be added to the ACC FAQ in the upcoming days. Please make use of the form where appropriate. Feedback may be sent to the Research Conduct and Reporting Coordinator, Anna Kisiala.
