In accordance with OLRB Certificate Number 2967-84-R; "All part-time employees of Trent University engaged in teaching, demonstrating, tutoring, marking, save and except employees in bargaining units for which any trade union held bargaining rights as of Feb 5th, 1985, and persons who are registered students of the University."

CUPE Unit 2 (Local: 3908)

The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees registered as students at Trent University who are regularly employed for not more than 24 hours per week as Teaching Assistants, Academic Assistants, Markers, Proctors, Lab Demonstrators or Lab Advisors in the Academic Programs at Peterborough and at the Oshawa locations, save and except any employees for whom a trade union held bargaining rights on March 17, 1998.
