Trent University Library recognizes the critical role of open access publishing in improving the dissemination and impact of research. Our commitment to OA is reflected in our active participation in both provincial and federal consortia, including the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) and the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN). Through these partnerships, we strive to support the Trent community in navigating the OA publishing landscape, offering resources and discounts to facilitate the process.
Author Processing Charge (APC) Discounts
By actively participating in publisher agreements negotiated by the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), the Library empowers Trent-affiliated researchers to leverage a number of APC discounts. Details and instructions on accessing these benefits can be found in the Library’s Open Access Publishing Guide.
