There is no better place to study Canada at the university level. Trent University is committed to making the study of Canada central to the university's identity. Trent was one of the leaders in founding Canadian Studies as a field of study. Now, with the creation of the School for the Study of Canada, Trent is staking out ground as the key place to study and research Canada into the future.
We respectfully acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honour those teachings by encouraging students, faculty and community members to explore their own connections to and responsibilities for the stewardship of these lands.
