Campus Recreation
There’s no limit to the creative opportunities that students can help us plan during their time at Trent, but some examples of these activities may include sports activities, e-sports programs, yoga sessions, recreation competitions, walking groups, or team fitness challenges. We look forward to helping everyone find their fit at TrentU Durham GTA.
Intramural Sports (Winter)
Trent University Durham GTA is running Intramural Sports this Winter between January 15th and April 18th; Basketball Monday's from 6pm to 7:30pm at Waverly Public School, Volleyball Monday's from 7:30pm to 9pm at Waverly Public School, Soccer Thursday's from 1pm to 2:30pm at the Civic Centre, and Cricket Thursday's from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Civic Centre. Gym Memberships
Fall/Winter Information
All students at Trent University Durham GTA will receive a Level 2 Fitness membership with the City of Oshawa in the Fall/Winter semesters. To utilize the membership, visit the Civic Centre in person with a current student ID card to set up an account.
The membership gives you access to cardio and strength training equipment, indoor running/walking track, swimming pools and ice skating at:

Extramural Competitive Sports
TrentU Durham GTA runs competitive tournament and league teams as part of the OCAA OCR league against other GTA colleges and universities in Ontario.
This coming year for 2023-24, we are running a Mixed Indoor Soccer team, Mixed Indoor Volleyball team, and Mixed Cricket team.
Tryout Information:
All tryouts have concluded for the 2023-24 academic year. Additional tryouts will start for next year in September 2024. Keep watch for emails and promotions for more information.
